Located in Belsize Park, an exclusive area in the Borough of Camden, it’s a luxurious family home with all the character you’d expect. However, there was one part the owner definitely wanted changing.
Cool Gardens were already hard at work transforming their outdoor space and decided a glass balustrade system would be an important feature. Something that provided safety while also being consistent with the vision they had.
Holly Harrington, Landscape Designer at Cool Gardens, said: “The client wanted something as simple and sleek as possible but would also stop their small children hurting themselves. It was to replace a brick wall on one side and a metal balustrade on the other.”
After contacting us, it was decided OnLevel’s frameless glass channel system worked best as it’s highly durable and has a minimalist design to complement the property’s outdoor space.
The Product
The Result
The Cool Gardens team required a bespoke balustrade system. In other words something that wasn’t ‘straight out of the box’. This meant drawing up a blueprint based on their requirements. Once approved, the glass balustrade was fabricated and assembled by us at our production facility before delivery.
Once on site, installation was a smooth process. Frameless glass balustrades are easy to fit thanks to their versatile fixing techniques, suitable for a number of different applications and environments. This meant the entire fitting process was quick and painless.
Both Cool Gardens and the property owners are very pleased with the finished product. And we are delighted to help transform this family’s outdoor space. The glass balustrade system serves an important safety function and also adds a touch of contemporary style. Just what the property owner wanted!
